Event Security Officer
About The Position
Securitas is seeking professional and dependable Event Security Officers to help create safe, enjoyable experiences at concerts, festivals, sporting events, and other special events in Newport News, VA. Responsibilities
- Provide a visible, professional security presence
- Greet guests and deliver excellent customer service
- Monitor crowds and event areas to help prevent incidents
- Check tickets, credentials, and bags as required
- Enforce venue rules calmly and respectfully
- Respond to and report safety or security concerns
- Assist with access control at entrances, exits, and restricted areas
- Provide directions and basic assistance to guests
