Seasonal Event Security - Make Extra Money for the Holidays
About The Position
KRE Security, LLC is hiring Event Security Officers for seasonal events throughout the Hershey, Harrisburg, and State College areas. This is a great opportunity to make extra money for the holidays, pick up extra hours, or stay busy with flexible work during the fall and winter. Event schedules can vary, but we're looking for dependable people who want to pick up shifts as they become available. Some assignments may provide steady work throughout the season based on client needs and your availability. The role involves working at concerts, sporting events, festivals, venues, and other special events. Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, customer service, hospitality, or event work is helpful but not required. Applicants must meet all applicable employment requirements and successfully complete required pre-employment screening and onboarding.
Requirements

- Able to work around crowds and busy environments
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and varying event schedules
- Calm and professional when things get busy
- Able to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
- Must meet all applicable employment requirements
- Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening and onboarding
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, customer service, hospitality, or event work is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, professional security presence
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas
- Assist with crowd management and pedestrian flow
- Check credentials, tickets, or access points when required
- Help enforce event policies and safety procedures
- Provide directions and professional assistance to guests
- Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity
- Report safety concerns, incidents, or policy violations
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Complete required activity or incident reports
- Follow instructions from KRE supervisors, clients, and event management
