About The Position

About the Role If you have strong customer service skills, enjoy staying organized, and like being the person who keeps everything running smoothly, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As an Event Sales Administrator, you will be the backbone of the sales office, supporting the Event Sales team while ensuring every client inquiry is handled with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. You will often be the first impression and sometimes the final touchpoint a client has with our venue, making this a highly visible and important role. We are looking for a self-starter who takes initiative, enjoys problem-solving, and is excited to contribute ideas that make the sales team more efficient and enhance the guest experience. This role will begin as a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the business and team needs evolve. It’s a great opportunity for someone interested in growing into an entry-level sales role, an Office Manager role, or an Executive Assistant career path.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable managing phones and client inquiries professionally.
  • Strong basic math skills to review and close out event checks.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Proficiency in office software and booking systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality, event coordination, or administrative experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for phone and online inquiries and assign leads to the appropriate Sales Manager.
  • Manage phones and client inquiries, including independently covering the office during weekend shifts.
  • Assist the Event Sales team with client bookings and event coordination.
  • Gather event details and communicate with clients about their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and bookings.
  • Close out event checks after events, ensuring all charges are accurate.
  • Open and/or close the sales office and help keep operations organized and running smoothly.
  • Support the team with ideas and improvements that help streamline processes and enhance the guest experience.
