About The Position

The Event Receptionist (Part-Time) is responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting guests, providing excellent customer service, and being knowledgeable about building, events, and activities at Rocket Arena. This part-time role involves working various weeknights and weekends from 5:30 PM until the end of events (typically 10 PM-12 AM), based on the Rocket Arena events schedule. The position requires 10-15 hours per week during the season (October – April).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior administrative experience.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Highly proficient verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and provide exceptional customer service to all callers, guests and team members.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Must have availability to work onsite at Rocket Arena various weeknights and weekends from 5:30 PM through the end of the event, based on the Rocket Arena events schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming phone calls in a quick, friendly, knowledgeable and informative manner.
  • Transfer calls as required to the appropriate team or team member.
  • Answer questions and provide accurate information regarding events, hours of operations, promotions, and directions.
  • Answer guests’ questions about Rocket Arena events and activities.
  • Greet guests, clients, partners, visitors, team members and others at Rocket Arena.
  • Offer high-level customer service to all team members and guests.
  • Monitor activities at entrances.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and willingness to assist all guests whenever possible.
  • Maintain clean and organized working areas.
