About The Position

Shugarman’s Bath is seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Event Promoter to represent the company at various events such as home shows, farmers markets, fairs, and retail locations. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, approaching individuals, initiating conversations, and building rapport to generate interest in bathtub and shower replacement services. The primary goal is to set appointments for Design Consultants to offer free in-home consultations. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, building relationships, and gaining sales experience. The role offers uncapped commissions and comprehensive training, making it a potentially rewarding opportunity with significant earning potential.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and proof of auto insurance
Must have your own transportation
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds (e.g., moving event materials or helping with event setup).
The successful candidate will be subject to our pre-employment background check, drug screening, and driving record check.

Responsibilities

Book appointments for customers to meet with our design team.
Approach individuals walking by the booth, initiate friendly conversations, and build trust and rapport to spark interest in our products and services.
Engage with attendees and customers at company booths throughout events and homeshows in Orange County or San Diego.
Answer questions about the bath remodel process.
Safely transport event materials to and from event locations.
Set up and present the display at event locations, ensuring it is appealing and professional.
