Requirements

Experience in catering, event production, hospitality, or a related field (3+ years)
A natural ability to lead, motivate, and energize on-site teams under pressure
Sharp organizational skills and a love of a well-built timeline
Vendor management experience and strong relationship-building instincts
A collaborative, creative spirit with a high standard for quality
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends — because that's when the magic happens
A genuine passion for making people happy through extraordinary experiences

Responsibilities

Own the full event production process from contract to close, bringing every detail to life after the Event Designer sets the vision
Build detailed execution plans, timelines, and diagrams that your on-site teams can actually execute flawlessly
Coordinate all the moving pieces — rentals, alcohol purveyors, entertainment, and everything in between
Secure signed contracts, deposits, and complete event details with precision and professionalism
Partner closely with internal teammates to ensure every event runs like a well-rehearsed performance
Show up on-site, lead your team with energy and purpose, and troubleshoot anything that comes your way with a calm, solutions-first mindset
Handle post-event follow-up calls, meetings, and billing to wrap every event with the same care it started with
Work across budgets of all sizes — from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions — without missing a beat
Champion the standards, ratios, and brand quality that make Catering by Design events exceptional every time
