About The Position

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) is seeking a self-starting Production Assistant to support the operation and management of dance and performance teams for the New York Knicks Event Presentation department. The role provides assistance with general tasks during Knicks home games, live events, and appearances, as well as support for auditions, orientation, seminars, and meetings. The position also supports social media and content capture, event logistics, and guest interactions. The role requires availability for most Knicks home games during the season, including nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with game days lasting eight hours.

• Experience with social media, media and content management, and camera and lighting equipment.

• Comfort engaging with supervisors, management, and talent.
• Availability to work the majority of Knicks home games throughout the season, with eight-hour days, including nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

• Previous experience as a Production Assistant or participation in a live production.

Responsibilities

• Support talent and management during games, events, auditions, orientation, seminars, and meetings.
• Distribute messages or items among talent, management, offices, and the arena.
• Prepare, pack, and deliver items for KCD/KCK sanctioned events, including headsets, wardrobe, props, paperwork, and communications.
• Work with the social media team to provide equipment and content-capture support.
• Assist with organizing content during and after games and events.
• Retrieve and deliver items from local stores or vendors as needed.
• Serve as the onsite contact for important guests.
• Undertake errands as assigned.
• Provide exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members while following appearance and presentation guidelines onsite.
