About The Position

Freshly renovated and reimagined, Peak with Priceless brings the New York City skyline closer than ever, one breathtaking seat at a time 101 floors above it all. The Event Porter supports the Lead Event Porter and team in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout all event areas. This role focuses on cleaning, restocking, and assisting with sanitation stations, dishware, glassware, and cutlery, ensuring all hygiene standards are met while helping the event run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sanitation, custodial, or hospitality roles preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and proper sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
  • Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate
  • Must have good positive energy throughout the day
  • Must be able to print legibly for Team Members, management, and guests to read
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to move quickly
  • Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance
  • Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon the guest volume
  • Exposure to cleaning materials
  • Office, Casino, Nightclub, Bar, Lounge, and/or Restaurant working environment
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
  • Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Lead Event Porter in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all event areas, including restrooms, bars, service stations, and public spaces.
  • Help set up, maintain, and break down sanitation stations.
  • Restock supplies such as gloves, sanitizers, paper towels, and cleaning products.
  • Clean inside and outside the venue, including floors, furniture, windows, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Properly dispose of garbage, recyclables, and soiled linens.
  • Maintain walkways, staging areas, and entry points free of debris, spills, or hazards.
  • Clean and sanitize dishware, glassware, cutlery, and other service items.
  • Follow proper usage instructions for cleaning chemicals, soaps, and equipment.
  • Report any equipment, furniture, or supply damage to the Sanitation Captain or management.
  • Support team members and other event staff to maintain smooth operations.
  • Attend pre-event briefings, training sessions, and departmental meetings as required.
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned to support sanitation and overall event operations.
  • Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned
