About The Position

Valet Park of America is seeking Directional Attendants for UMass events, focusing on nights and weekends. Other hours and roles may also be available. We are booking many special events for the upcoming Fall seasons with clients including BIG E and UMass Amherst. We are seeking to build a team of PT staff who will work events in the Western MA area. This is a great fit for someone seeking to supplement their regular FT position or a student. Travel will be required in the Western MA area to report to the work location. The primary purpose of this position is to greet and assist customers, direct them where to park their vehicles, and be a visible representative of the establishment we provide services for.

Requirements

• Have your own transportation
• Have experience working in customer service
• Must speak fluent English to communicate effectively with customers
• Standing and walking for the duration of your shift
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
• Outdoors for the duration of the shift
• Attend scheduled shifts despite weather conditions
• Undergo a criminal records check
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays when necessary
• Must have a neat appearance and a good attitude
• Complete a 30-day trial period

Nice To Haves

• Background in customer service, hospitality, retail, transportation, and security
