About The Position

The Part-Time Event Parking Ambassador plays a pivotal role with the event parking operations of the Delta Center Parking Garage. The goal is to provide the safest and most unforgettable experience for all guests, performers, and employees who park in our Parking Garage or Loading Dock at the Delta Center.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Communicates effectively: Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

• Manages Ambiguity: Operating effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear.

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a valid Utah Drivers License preferred
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements preferred
• Previous experience in Parking is preferred
• Ability to operate and park a vehicle safely and effectively preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitate garage ticket taking operations and guest validation procedures during events
• Regulate the flow of vehicle traffic for the ingress and egress of the event
• Provide assistance and direction to guests traveling from the garage to the arena
• Conduct garage patrols to identify risks or operational issues
• Communicate any incidents to Event Parking Supervisors
• Assist with loading dock parking management on game days
• Complete detailed incident reports as required
• Protect the reputation of the company
• Exemplify the Delta Center mission and values: transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy
• Other duties as assigned
