Event Operations Staff are responsible for the set-up, changeover, and general upkeep of facilities for various events. This includes moving, arranging, assembling, and disassembling items such as animal penning, flooring, chairs, walls, barricades, staging, and tables. The role also involves general cleaning and maintenance of buildings, overseeing personnel, loading/unloading trucks, and transporting trash. Staff must be able to read layouts, measure accurately, train new hires, enforce policies, perform repairs, and promptly report safety concerns. The position requires working extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and involves inspecting completed work, issuing supplies, and maintaining inventory. Knowledge of operating an extractor machine and working at elevated heights is necessary. Collaboration with other Operations Department divisions is expected, along with performing other assigned duties.
