About The Position

The Wilkinson Firm is a premium hospitality and event staffing employer. Every hire is a W-2 employee, not a contractor: taxes handled, workers' compensation, and a real pay stub. We train before the first shift, run a paid leadership program called Captain School, rewrite your resume, run mock interviews, and promote from inside. Our clients are hotels, conference centers, caterers and venues. We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories. The Wilkinson Firm is building a 100-person W-2 hospitality team in the Charlotte market by the end of 2027, and this role is part of it. This role owns delivery for a book of client properties: staffing every event, leading captains and event leads, running pre-event planning with clients, and holding the standard on every floor. This is a working manager role with real events every week. Charlotte is our next full market: uptown hotels, the convention district, University City, and the clubs and venues around the region.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of hotel banquet, catering or event operations leadership
• Black professional pants or slacks, black closed-toe non-slip shoes, professional grooming and appearance
• Reliable transportation and a working smartphone
• Eligible to work in the United States (I-9 and E-Verify)

Responsibilities

• Build and confirm crews for every event on your book
• Lead captains and event leads; run Captain School cohorts
• Walk properties with clients before and after events
• Own fill rate, show rate and client satisfaction for your accounts
