About The Position

Red Bull New York is seeking a motivated and organized college student to join the Operations department for a 12-week internship program. This internship offers a comprehensive understanding of operations at RBNY and Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS), ideal for those pursuing a career in sports. Experience will include working on both match days and non-match days at SIS and Montclair State University. Interns will be exposed to soccer events (MLS, MLSNP, NWSL), dark day assignments, special events, stadium projects, and potential support at the First Team training ground. This is an unpaid, for-credit internship only, requiring proof of academic credit.

Requirements

• Student pursuing a career in Sports Management and/or Event Operations.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to perform moderate labor over the course of a full event (8-12 hours).
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
• Experience showing professionalism around pro athletes/teams.
• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions in a team environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to accomplish work in order of priority.
• Ability to effectively multitask and deliver consistently at a high level.
• Proof of receiving academic credit for the internship is required.

Responsibilities

• Support in the daily operation of SIS, including stadium setup, breakdown, staging, and conversion for matches.
• Coordinate with other Red Bull New York departments to ensure successful event planning and execution.
• Liaise with outside parties such as visiting teams, referees, league officials, vendors, and partners to ensure all needs are met.
• Perform other designated assigned duties.
