About The Position

The Renaissance Shoals Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced and passionate Event Manager to join their events team. This role is responsible for the flawless planning and execution of events at the resort. The Event Manager will collaborate with the sales team, hotel departments, and clients to ensure all details are handled with expertise and attention to detail. This position is suited for individuals who excel in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, possess strong organizational skills, and are motivated by turning ideas into reality. Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact from planning to post-event, ensuring clear communication and personalized service.
Lead pre-event meetings, oversee Banquet Event Orders, manage timelines, and ensure seamless execution across all departments.
Manage group room blocks, meeting space assignments, and event details using industry tools like Marriott Global Source and Passkey.
Monitor budgets, maximize upselling opportunities, and ensure events meet both client expectations and financial goals.
Address feedback promptly, resolve issues effectively, and continually seek ways to enhance the overall event experience.
