About The Position

This position will consist of management of service employees, fielding client needs on site, menu integrity, communication with onsite kitchen team, timely service, set-up, clean-up, load-out and overall operation of catering areas at all assigned events. Employee will communicate event details with Sales Manager and Executive Chef prior and post event.

  • Small Event Experience (< 50 persons)
  • Warehouse Pulls experience
  • Experience driving Vans
  • Training experience
  • Team oriented with interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 50 pounds
  • Standing for long periods of time, bending, squatting, repeated lifting
  • Exposure to solvents, fumes, chemical cleaning supplies
  • Maintain good driving record (no talking or texting while driving)
  • Ability to drive company vans and small box trucks

  • Communicating event details with Sales Manager and Executive Chef prior and post event
  • Clocking in/out for shifts through HCMtogo and minimizing missed punches
  • Time management within shifts and ensuring breaks are being recorded and taken
  • Assisting in event pull sheets
  • Double checking event checklist and event comment page
  • Working with Director of Operations to maintain inventory of dry goods, beverages, linen, décor, food items, paper products
  • Warehouse organization and inventory of products and equipment post events
  • Maintaining a good driving record and abiding by all traffic laws
  • Driving company vans and small box trucks
  • Reading event folders and ensuring all items are gathered for the event
  • Checking with Chefs to ensure all food and condiments are ready for departure
  • Loading pull items and food into vehicles
  • Introducing yourself to the client and conducting a walk-through of the event space
  • Acting as the sole point of contact for the event
  • Meeting with FOH staff to ensure they understand the event timeline
  • Conducting FOH meetings
  • Establishing everyone's role at the event
  • Ensuring uniforms are correct and grooming standards are acceptable
  • Running through the timeline, menu, call outs, and dietary restrictions
  • Communicating with onsite culinary for timelines of service
  • Communicating any updates or changes with Culinary and staff onsite
  • Filling out timesheets for BTS and service employees
  • Filling out the post-event note page with pertinent information and client feedback
  • Managing events from start to finish
  • Preparing for load-out at the conclusion of the event
  • Taking inventory of all equipment (BTS and rented)
  • Delegating tasks to ensure all equipment, décor, and food are loaded onto the truck
  • Ensuring reefer trucks remain on and leaving a note for the morning crew
  • Conducting a final walkthrough of the event space to ensure nothing is left behind and the space is left clean
  • Bringing vehicles back to BTS and unloading specified items
  • Completing any outstanding areas in the event file
