About The Position

The Event Logistics & Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the flow of equipment, rentals, and food execution from warehouse to event and back. This role is hands-on and operational, ensuring that all event materials are accurately pulled, loaded, delivered, and returned. This position works closely with the culinary and operations teams to coordinate event readiness, manage equipment inventory (china, linen, rentals, etc.), and ensure all trucks are properly loaded and dispatched on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment and understands that success is measured by flawless execution in the field. In addition to logistics, this role oversees warehouse staff, scheduling, safety protocols, and continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the pulling, staging, and packing of all equipment and supplies for events
  • Ensure all trucks are accurately loaded according to event timelines and specifications
  • Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure food is properly packed and dispatched
  • Manage event load-out and post-event returns, ensuring all items are accounted for
  • Track and document damaged equipment, coordinating repairs and replacements
  • Liaise with rental companies to ensure orders are accurate, timely, and properly returned
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment including china, glassware, linen, décor, dry goods, and beverages
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile with internal systems
  • Manage liquor inventory, tracking usage and maintaining appropriate PAR levels
  • Develop and maintain systems for efficient equipment flow and organization
  • Oversee vehicle fleet coordination, including scheduling, maintenance, and tracking
  • Recruit, train, and develop warehouse staff
  • Create and manage warehouse staff schedules based on event needs
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure accountability for completion
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action when necessary
  • Coordinate staffing for warehouse support at offsite events and special projects
  • Develop and enforce warehouse safety protocols in compliance with CAL OSHA standards
  • Maintain safety logs, training records, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment
