About The Position

Goodera is seeking an Emcee to support and lead their corporate volunteering activities. The role involves facilitating engaging volunteering events for corporate employees, ensuring an exceptional experience for clients. The Emcee will represent Goodera, maintain high standards of experience and engagement, and communicate clearly to build strong connections with volunteers. The position ensures a seamless start-to-finish event experience, leading the entire event journey from setup to post-event wrap-up. The role also involves capturing memorable moments, handling setup and logistics (materials check, volunteer instructions, contingency planning), and connecting with non-profits and beneficiaries to deepen the impact of the experience. A strong passion for social impact and a deep understanding of volunteering's causes and effects are essential.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with volunteers.
• Proficiency in public speaking and the ability to engage and captivate an audience.
• Fluency in English; any other additional regional languages are an advantage.
• Strong passion for social impact initiatives and a keen interest in understanding the cause and impact of volunteering activities.
• Ability to adapt and respond swiftly to changing situations during events.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively as they arise.
• Self-driven, proactive, and a team player with strong creative skills.
• Natural Communicator: You enjoy public speaking, can read the room, and communicate clearly under pressure whether you're with 5 people or 100.
• Warm & Inclusive: Whether your style is high-energy and fun or calm and grounding, you sustain genuine enthusiasm for 2 ~ 4 hours and make people feel at ease with your engaging presence.
• Confident Facilitator: You hold the room, manage group dynamics, and adapt seamlessly when tech fails or plans change without visible stress.

• Capture the magic of each moment, turning the event into unforgettable memories that volunteers will cherish.
• Handle setup and logistics: materials check, volunteer instructions, and contingency planning.
• Connect with non-profits and beneficiaries, closing the loop and deepening the impact of the experience.
• Exhibit a strong passion for social impact and a deep understanding of the causes and effects of volunteering activities.
