About The Position

Daytona International Speedway is seeking part-time event workers in the position of Guest Services Fan Crew. As a member of the Fan Crew, you will be responsible for bringing our guests an unforgettable racing experience. Fan Crew will work select publicly ticketed events throughout the year. Guest Services Fan Crew is a seasonal/temporary event-based position. Shifts and hours will vary depending on specific event needs.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work outdoors in changing weather
  • Excellent communication skills & positive attitude
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends & holidays
  • Shift length: 8-14 hours depending on event needs
  • Candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check (ADA Cart Driver Fan Crew, Support Team)
  • Candidate must be able to lift in excess of 30 pounds (Support Team)
  • Candidate must be comfortable using a computer (Wardrobe Fan Crew)

Responsibilities

  • Assisting fans in a safe and friendly manner
  • Safely transport guests with disabilities, via golf carts, to and from designated locations (ADA Cart Driver Fan Crew)
  • Keep an organized flow of the fan queue line and the ADA Carts (Shuttle Stop Fan Crew)
  • Check each guest's ticket or credential for valid entry into the Venue or infield (Admissions Fan Crew Gates)
  • Check each guest's ticket and vehicle pass for access into controlled campground areas (Admissions Fan Crew Campgrounds)
  • Check each guest's ticket and vehicle pass for valid access into the infield & campground areas (Admissions Fan Crew Tunnels)
  • Keep the 24-hour operation of the Tunnels & Campgrounds going (Admissions Fan Crew Overnight)
  • Be positioned at Guest Services Booths to provide accurate information in a timely manner and ensure a positive race-day experience (Guest Services Booth Fan Crew)
  • Manage the lost and found program, resolve ticket discrepancies or issues, and take fan feedback with a positive attitude (Guest Services Booth Fan Crew)
  • Direct guests to the location of their seats and other points of interest (Venue Fan Crew)
  • Enforce Speedway policies and procedures (Venue Fan Crew)
  • Provide event information to guests (Venue Fan Crew)
  • Ensure everything in their area is in working order (Venue Fan Crew)
  • Work as escalator or elevator attendants to ensure the safety of our guests (Venue Fan Crew)
  • Assist the entire Guest Services department with critical tasks before, during, and after events (Support Team)
  • Assist with setup and teardown of items such as signage, tents, tables, chairs, and steel barricades (Support Team)
  • Transport staff to and from specific work locations on property (Support Team)
  • Oversee the organization of wardrobe for all Guest Services sub-departments by issuing and receiving uniforms (Wardrobe Fan Crew)
  • Wash laundry during events (Wardrobe Fan Crew)
