About The Position

Cameron Mitchell Premier Events is seeking a dynamic and driven Event Coordinator to join their team. The Event Coordinator will serve as the on-site client contact for Cameron Mitchell Premier Events, executing all events based on details and timelines determined by the Salesperson. This role operates in a fast-paced team environment for the premier event company in central Ohio. The position requires evening and weekend hours, as well as some weekday office hours.

  • 1+ years of catering, venue, or restaurant experience
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent team development and leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Uphold company culture and philosophy
  • Follow proper timekeeping policies and procedures and clock in and out all hourly associates on events
  • Act as the liaison between the client and Cameron Mitchell Premier Events in the absence of the Sales Team Member on Events
  • Pit stop at each event with staff to discuss current events and event details
  • Perimeter Checks and Line Checks
  • Assures proper event execution, service, and safety standards as per company standards
  • On-site supervision of CMPE staff and ensure proper behavior of staff during the event
  • Ensure proper behavior of staff during event
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during an event
  • Proper opening and closing procedures on all events (on premise or off premise)
  • Ensure the proper loading and handling of catering trucks
  • Leave venues clean and check out with venue contact at close of event
  • Event Recaps filled out and submitted no later than 24 hours after the event
  • Attend walkthroughs as needed based upon sales team needs
  • Planning execution with the Sales Team Members
  • Create and sending out staff notes and chef notes
  • Create detailed load lists for events to ensure accurate preparation, packing, and onsite setup
  • Proper planning and execution of event pit stops to ensure operational readiness
  • Creating food tags at the request of the Sales Team Members
  • Compile and complete all required paperwork and documentation necessary for day-of-event execution
  • Double checking all event details (staffing, rentals, BEOs, etc.)
  • Attend meetings as requested
  • Engage in client correspondence via phone and email in the days leading up to the event, as appropriate to support a smooth transition into event execution
  • Special projects as needed
  • Additional duties as necessary
