We are seeking a motivated Temporary Event Coordinator to support the planning and execution of engaging events that create memorable experiences for our members and guests. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, managing multiple projects, and seeing their work come together from concept to completion.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years of event planning, event coordination, marketing, hospitality, administrative support, or similar experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of events from initial concept through completion.
  • Coordinating event logistics, including venue setup, catering, equipment, event materials, and vendor services.
  • Managing event timelines, schedules, budgets, and project task lists to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Communicating with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to confirm event details and logistics.
  • Preparing event materials, promotional collateral, signage, decorations, and attendee resources.
  • Providing on-site event support by troubleshooting issues and ensuring events run smoothly.
  • Working closely with team members across multiple departments and branch locations to deliver exceptional service and memorable member experiences.
  • Building positive relationships with vendors, colleagues, and members while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Learning and promoting the credit union's products, services, and current promotions while adhering to all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Performing additional event and administrative support duties as needed.
