A fast-growing, high-end catering and events team is seeking dependable and motivated Event Cooks to support off-site productions throughout the Chicago area. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in dynamic environments, collaborating with a team, and executing food at a high level across a variety of unique venues. Whether you come from a restaurant background or are looking to build experience in events, this is an opportunity to be part of a team that delivers memorable culinary experiences.

Requirements

• Must legally be able to work within the US.
• Ability to stand for 8-12 hours at a time
• Must be able to lift 25+ pounds
• Must have valid Food Handlers Certification
• Reliable transportation is required

Nice To Haves

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is helpful, but not required for all candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep, cooking, and execution for off-site events
• Follow recipes, production lists, and chef direction with consistency
• Support setup and breakdown of kitchen stations at event locations
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times
• Work collaboratively with chefs and team members to ensure smooth service
• Adapt quickly to different kitchens, venues, and event formats
