About The Position

We're hiring Entry-Level Event Communications Assistants to support community events, promotional campaigns, brand activations, public relations initiatives, and marketing communications. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates, college graduates, career changers, and motivated individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in event marketing, communications, customer engagement, public relations, promotions, and business development. No previous event or marketing experience is required. Paid training and hands-on coaching are provided. As an Entry-Level Event Communications Assistant, you'll work with an experienced team to support marketing and communications initiatives and help create engaging experiences for customers and event attendees.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field is welcome but not required.
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, sales, event staffing, promotions, education, athletics, volunteering, or other people-facing roles is also welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with community events, promotional campaigns, trade shows, and company events
  • Support event setup, promotional activities, and event-day operations
  • Communicate with customers, event attendees, community members, and business partners
  • Provide information about featured products, services, programs, and campaigns
  • Support marketing, advertising, branding, and promotional initiatives
  • Help distribute promotional materials and increase awareness of campaigns
  • Assist with customer and community engagement activities
  • Maintain professional communication with customers and team members
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and management teams on assigned projects
  • Participate in team meetings, training, coaching, and professional development
  • Learn how marketing and communications strategies are implemented in a real-world environment
