About The Position

This role will be responsible for the planning and execution of branded events for Napoleon, including in-field activations for the Brand Ambassador, Dealer Sales, and corporate events. All EBA activities will require the ability to maintain all company equipment and supplies, cook predetermined menu items, and represent the Napoleon Brand to dealers, consumers, and internal employees. During non-event periods, the EBA will also complete store visits within the GTA as needed, assisting BA team members at both focus and non-focus stores.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, Post-Secondary Education Preferred
  • 2-3 years in food preparations, preferably in a grilling role.
  • 1-2 years of consumer-facing retail experience.
  • Ability to inspire and enhance memorable in-store brand events and demonstrations.
  • Able to communicate effectively with management and customers.
  • Able to work Tuesday through Saturday schedule.
  • Ability to perform repetitive bending, standing, walking and be able to push, pull and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance is required.
  • Smart phone or tablet (apple or android) with internet access to complete reports while in store.
  • Some overnight travel will be required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all major events within the Napoleon corporate and sales divisions as needed.
  • Work with Events/Sales on completing detailed schedules and menus for all assigned events.
  • Weekly maintenance and cleaning of all equipment and vehicles as needed.
  • Train with BA team for upcoming major sales events within the market at national account locations.
  • Assist with corporate events team on barn and office set up as needed.
  • Complete bi-weekly reports on upcoming event status and post-event reports to the manager.
  • Visit trade shows, stores, community organizations, or other venues to demonstrate products or services or to answer questions from potential customers.
  • Completing sales service reports and uploading photos while in store.
  • Attending and conducting in-store brand events and demonstrations to share product knowledge with customers and store employees. Ensuring quality of products and that clients are knowledgeable about products.
  • Maintaining and merchandising authorized SKUs to approved layout and plan-o-gram.
