We are looking for an Event + Venue Manager to help us as we activate and transform some of San Francisco’s most amazing buildings into a premier event space portfolio. What you will be doing General Manage production for our partners’ and our own events and projects; Facilitate communications between all teams and partners to ensure a smooth event and project execution; Oversee venue maintenance to make sure our spaces are event-ready at all times; Support Sales and Marketing in their efforts. Proactively build, grow, and manage a venue-based team that may include Event Managers, Operations Managers, and Facilities Managers; Ensure venue-based team effectiveness by coaching and mentoring team members, to ensure seamless event execution and unparalleled client satisfaction. Event Design and Execution Assist partners with navigating Company’s logistical planning process; Communicate the unique logistical requirements for each venue to partners; Coordinate run-of-show and day-of-event operations and venue usage; Maintain complete and up to date CRM records; Assist with all requirements for permitting of large-scale traffic plans and crowd management; Wherever appropriate, introduce partners to NPU’s preferred vendors; Enforce third-party vendor compliance with electrical, engineering, license, security, insurance, permitting requirements, and other applicable city codes and regulatory requirements. Manage all design, permitting, fabrication, production and operations of NPU events Sales & Marketing Develop event budget and assist Sales Managers on pricing proposals; Support partner site walkthroughs and assist Sales with any logistical questions; Meet all prospective partners and gain an understanding of their event/vision in order to support the Sales Manager and, post-contracting, take a lead on a seamless transition and flawless execution; Assist Marketing to create all sales collateral, floor plans, logistic procedures, SOPs, rules and regulations. Support Marketing pre and post-launch of event activities.
