About The Position

The Event and Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of events to raise awareness of donation and transplantation as well as raise funds for Indiana Donor Network Foundation. While the type of events and the audiences for those events vary, the person in this role will directly support events and activations varying from large to small.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational, time management, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects at various stages simultaneously.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams.
  • A desire to serve to create exceptional experiences for Hoosiers.
  • A creative mind with the ability to communicate ideas clearly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with total accountability.
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to represent the organization in a professional manner at all times.
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a group to make the work of the group successful and effective.
  • Ability to complete projects on time.
  • A minimum of three5 years of previous event management, fundraising, volunteer coordination and event promotion is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management and marketing and communications program experience is a plus.
  • Experience using the Classy platform is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting corporate and foundation special events that are efficient and impactful to raise funds to support key initiatives.
  • Assisting with sponsorship and fundraising efforts for Indiana Donor Network Foundation.
  • Supporting events for internal clients.
  • Participating on projects or committees that enhance or improve the overall success or culture of the organization
