About The Position

The Event & Account Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and converting leads for various events including weddings, corporate retreats, wellness programs, and catered banquet events. This role involves conducting property tours, drafting proposals and agreements, and collaborating with resort operations to ensure seamless event logistics. The coordinator will also stay informed about regional hospitality trends and manage daily sales pipelines to meet revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of proven, consultative B2B or B2C sales experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently.
  • A collaborative team member who elevates those around them and thrives as a vital contributor within an ambitious sales department.
  • Flawless executive presentation, strong verbal and written communication skills, and professional appearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality, resort, wedding, or catering sales experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source, qualify, and convert leads for weddings, corporate retreats, wellness programs, and catered banquet events.
  • Conduct inspiring, highly professional on-site property tours for prospective brides, event planners, and executive decision-makers.
  • Draft precise estimates, custom catering proposals, and binding group agreements that maximize Food & Beverage (F&B) flow-through and room night yields.
  • Partner closely with Resort Operations to hand off seamless event logistics, banquet event orders (BEOs), and client specifications.
  • Stay ahead of regional hospitality trends, actively targeting drive-market corporate buyers and association planners across Northern and Southern California.
  • Manage daily sales pipelines independently with high accountability, while collaborating daily with property leadership to meet property-wide revenue targets.
