About The Position

Join Our Team as an Evening Social Attendant at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Greenville Downtown! At Parks Hospitality Group, we are looking for an enthusiastic Evening Social Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service during evening social or reception events, setting up food and beverage stations, interacting with guests, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with the hotel’s brand standards.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
  • TIPS certification required at hire to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role preferred but not required.
  • ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up food and beverage stations for the evening social event, ensuring they are well-organized, stocked, and presented attractively.
  • Prepare food and beverages in a visually appealing manner, following established presentation guidelines.
  • Monitor food and beverage levels throughout the event, replenishing items as needed to ensure a continuous supply for guests.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, answering questions, providing information about menu items, and assisting with special requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and kitchen spaces, including mopping, cleaning dishes, and wiping down food and beverage stations, tables, and seating areas.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages, and cleaning procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with state laws regulating the serving of alcohol.
  • Provide excellent service, making guests feel welcome and ensuring their needs are met throughout the event.
