About The Position

The Evening Shift Supervisor, a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, will supervise licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in the delivery of care during the assigned shift (3pm - 11:30pm). This role involves managing the provision of care in accordance with company philosophy, standards of professional nursing practices, and all federal and state laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Indiana RN or LPN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, Excellence) to residents, family members, customers, and staff.

• Management experience or willingness and desire to learn proper approaches to managing staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in the delivery of care during the assigned shift.
• Manage the provision of care in accordance with company philosophy, standards of professional nursing practices, and all federal and state laws and regulations.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Manage staff, with a passion for teaching, leading, and mentoring.
• Use clinical knowledge to exceed the needs of residents, resident families, and staff.
• Promote communication and interdisciplinary approaches to resident care.
