About The Position

The Countrypolitan Restaurant, located inside Hotel Indigo in downtown Nashville, is a made-from-scratch restaurant serving seasonal local and regional fare with a Southern gastropub feel. The restaurant features craft cocktails, local small-batch beers, and live music 7 days a week. We are hiring an Evening Line Cook to help run the kitchen, be part of the team, and maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests. This role involves preparing food and setting up necessary supplies, ensuring smooth kitchen operations during service, and adhering to quality standards.

Requirements

2+ years restaurant experience required

Responsibilities

Prepare food with quality standards
Report emergencies, accidents, injuries, and safety hazards to management
Report any deviation of policies and procedures to management
Know the hotel grounds and services to assist guests as needed
Impress guests with quality and timely service
Monitor and control maintenance/sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
Use a variety of cooking methods
Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with appropriate recipes
Use supplies and equipment safely and responsibly
Have a positive attitude with visitors and staff
