Requirements
- 2 years of previous work history/education required
- General computer/tablet, office, phone and communication skills required
- One-year previous supervisory experience preferred
- Previous office experience preferred
- Previous housekeeping preferred
- Basic knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures (i.e. blood, pests)
- Problem solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers
- Employment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
- Be a consistent role model for company’s Service Excellence standards
- Must be minimum 18 years of age
- Must use vacuum, mop and full bucket of water, and other cleaning-like equipment
- Must lift 35 lbs./ push 75 lbs. occasionally (i.e. inspector carts, housekeeper carts, bundles of sheets)
- Job requires standing, sitting, walking, handling, reaching, stooping and climbing stairs on a daily basis
- Communicate clearly in English both written and verbal

Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations and functions of the housekeeping staff
- Train new hires in various roles
- Ensure room standards are maintained by inspecting and coaching housekeeping staff daily, update staff performance records
- Assist with Human Resources paperwork as needed
- Ensure all guest comments are acted upon promptly
- Assist with inventory
- Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements.
- Inspector, Housekeeper, Houseperson, Laundry and Lobby attendant duties as needed
- Other duties as assigned
