About The Position

The Evening Guest Services Representative will greet and assist guests both on the phone and in person, providing a welcoming atmosphere. This role is responsible for managing the main desk, handling phone calls, maintaining safety and security in the Commons, managing deliveries and pickups, and assisting with projects to support Westwood staff. The position requires alignment with Westwood's Staff Values: Head High, Heart Soft, Arms Linked, Feet Forward.

Requirements

• Someone who lives a life that honors God in heart, actions, and relationships, with the goal of becoming more like Jesus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
• Good verbal communication skills, on the phone and in person
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Ability to relate to other Westwood staff and church attenders at large
• Endorse and support Westwood’s Statement of Faith
• Remain a member in good standing of Westwood Community Church

Nice To Haves

• One to two years general office experience

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors to the church, providing a positive first impression, and efficiently connect them with the appropriate ministry staff member or volunteer
• Manage main desk phone calls, answering questions and directing calls as needed.
• Maintain the safety/security in the Commons, paying particular attention to those with suspicious appearance or behavior and follow proper security guidelines
• Manage USPS and package deliveries and pickups
• Manage Lost & Found items
• Assist with projects to support Westwood staff as available
• Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
• Align to and live out the Westwood Staff Values: Head High, Heart Soft, Arms Linked, Feet Forward
