About The Position
The Evening Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within the Fine Arts Center and Athletic Facilities. This position ensures all assigned areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and prepared for daily use and scheduled events.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
- Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks required for custodial work
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, classrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors (including gym floors as directed)
- Empty trash and replace liners throughout assigned areas
- Clean and secure entrances, hallways, and event spaces
- Set up and tear down for events, practices, and performances as needed
- Monitor building security and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow all district safety procedures and guidelines
