About The Position

IMA Clinical Research is hiring an Evening Clinical Research Assistant (Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist) to support patients through clinical trials. This role is a great fit for med techs, phlebotomy-certified techs, or nursing students who want real patient-care hours that don't conflict with daytime classes or clinicals. The position involves 3-4 evening shifts per week from 6:00 PM to Midnight, with occasional weekend shifts. The schedule is designed to be predictable and pair well with morning/afternoon coursework or clinical rotations. The assistant will welcome and guide patients, collect vitals, EKGs, and patient interview data, perform phlebotomy and process lab specimens, support scheduling, documentation, and regulatory compliance, and partner with study teams to ensure trials run smoothly.

Requirements

• High school diploma (required)
• Enrolled in or completed a nursing, med tech, or medical assisting program — OR 6+ months of medical office experience
• A sharp eye for detail and a genuine patient-first mindset
• Flexibility for evening and occasional weekend shifts
• Reliable transportation for the midnight shift end

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy experience or certification a plus (great opportunity to grow this skill)
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
