The Cashier role at Acme Meijer involves performing various customer service activities, such as greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and friendly, handling merchandise with care, and bagging purchases. All experience levels are welcome, and training is provided. Shift times range between 1pm and 11pm, with both full-time and part-time positions available. Requirements

18 years of age or older.
Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
Desire to work with customers.
Good verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
Friendly outgoing attitude.
Ability to operate cashier register system.

Nice To Haves

Current/previous experience as a cashier in food service or retail a plus.
Previous retail or customer experience preferred but not required.
