About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional to join a warm, respectful caregiving team supporting a kind and engaging gentleman with Down syndrome in his lovely Garnet Valley home. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference while working in a calm, supportive environment where your presence truly matters.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of direct care experience
- 21 years or older
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- A high school diploma or GED
- Is a non-smoker and fragrance-free
- Is calm, dependable, and naturally caring
- Enjoys being part of a team and brings a sense of humor
- Patient, reliable, and values meaningful one-on-one work
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive evening support and companionship
- Assist with light homemaking tasks
- Help maintain a comfortable, positive routine
