About The Position
For seniors and their families, evenings, overnights, and weekends are the most critical times for peace of mind. As an Evening and Weekend Caregiver with Comfort Keepers, you provide the watchful eye, dinner companionship, and calm reassurance that allows seniors to wind down peacefully and lets families rest easy through the night. This position is ideal for night owls, students, or caregivers looking for dedicated evening visits (such as 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM), awake overnights, or extended weekend block coverage while keeping weekday daytime hours completely open.
Requirements
- Attentive, patient, and naturally safety-minded
- Punctual and comfortable working one-on-one in quiet home environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Clear background check and dependability you can stand behind
Responsibilities
- Guide relaxing evening dinner routines, medication reminders, and comfortable bedtime prep
- Provide attentive safety monitoring, fall prevention, and wandering intervention for clients with memory care needs
- Assist with safe transfers, bedtime mobility, and overnight comfort needs
- Support full-day weekend routines with nourishing meals, personal care, and peaceful companionship
