This role is ideal for an experienced SLP who enjoys leadership and collaboration. The primary responsibilities include conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations, writing evaluation reports and IEPs, supervising SLPAs in accordance with state guidelines, attending IEP meetings, and providing clinical support to the special education team. The therapist will maintain a very small direct service caseload, allowing the majority of their time to focus on evaluations, documentation, compliance, and SLPA supervision. Supportive district looking for an SLP to conduct evaluations and supervise SLPAs. SLP may be expected to cover a small caseload, but the primary purpose would be supervision and evaluations/attending IEP meetings.
