About The Position

The Evaluation and Data Analyst works collaboratively within an interprofessional team to develop and implement evaluation activities that support continuous clinical and organizational quality improvement. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing and implementing evaluation plans and frameworks; ensuring the quality of key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with organizational and program objectives; and collecting, analyzing and interpreting data for various purposes, including reporting and supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language, such as R, SAS, SPSS, STATA, Python or SQL.
  • Knowledge of data quality management practices.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Master’s degree or PhD in a health-related field, such as epidemiology, program evaluation, public health, health sciences, medicine, psychology or related discipline.
  • Experience developing evaluation plans and/or frameworks, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in applying research and evaluation methods.
  • Experience analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative data.
  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement evaluation frameworks and logic models in collaboration with clinical teams.
  • Support the development of an organization-wide evaluation framework.
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods, including data collection and analysis.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.
  • Collect, clean, analyze and maintain data to ensure quality and integrity.
  • Use spreadsheets, databases and programming languages such as R to integrate and automate data processes.
  • Respond to ad hoc data and reporting requests.
  • Translate healthcare data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, infographics and other knowledge translation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
