Build a career with impact. Working at the World Bank Group (WBG) provides a unique opportunity to help countries solve their greatest development challenges. As one of the largest sources of funding and knowledge for developing countries, the WBG is a unique partnership of five global institutions dedicated to ending poverty, increasing shared prosperity, and promoting sustainable development. With 189 member countries and more than 120 offices worldwide, the WBG works with public and private sector partners, investing in groundbreaking projects and using data, research, and technology to develop solutions to the most urgent global challenges. Do you want to build a career that is truly worthwhile? The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) is a member of the World Bank Group, and our mission is to promote foreign direct investment into developing countries to help end extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity. We do that through the provision of political risk insurance and credit enhancement to investors and lenders against losses caused by non‑commercial risks. For more information, visit www.miga.org. MIGA’s Economics and Sustainability Group (MIGES) consists of several areas of excellence: Economics, Environment and Social, Climate, Gender, and Evaluations. The Evaluation Unit (MIGEV) is seeking an Evaluation Analyst (GE) who is dynamic, proactive, meticulous, and a team player. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills and experience in monitoring and evaluating development outcomes in complex projects in both public and private sectors, with a solid financial and technical background. The Analyst will support MIGA’s self‑evaluation of projects, contribute to the operational effectiveness of MIGA evaluation practices, and assist in coordination with the Independent Evaluation Group (IEG). The Analyst will also support the collection and organization of results data and performance indicators, including those for the WBG Corporate Scorecard FY24–30 and communications on operational results and the distinctive roles of guarantee instruments—emphasizing green, resilient, and inclusive development by mobilizing private capital and working as One World Bank Group. (Aligned with the WBG Scorecard framework and MIGA DEIS guidance.)
