The Customer Support organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer site and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. Local site Customer Support branches perform qualification, repair and maintenance for the customers within the specific region. The EUV Technical Support Engineer - SCN CT/TB plays a leading role within the team and interacts with customers at various levels. This role is also involved in the customer account team and/or site management. The engineer independently solves nearly all problems and is responsible for routine troubleshooting and preventive actions based on pre-defined procedures and knowledge. They define action plans for specific maintenance activities, such as multi-day upgrades and troubleshooting. A strong understanding of the standard escalation protocol, including 2nd and 3rd line support, is essential. The engineer works highly independently on diagnostics and maintenance, with performance reviewed based on end results.
