About The Position
Capco is a global technology and management consultancy specializing in digital transformation across financial services and energy. The full-stack ETRM Developer will join the Technology & Engineering practice and help deliver and enhance Energy Trading and Risk Management solutions for leading energy organizations. The role uses expertise in ETRM platforms, .NET technologies, and software engineering best practices to build scalable, high-quality solutions that support trading operations, risk management, and clients’ strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Approximately five years of software development experience, with strong full-stack development capabilities.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, including .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, Web API, SQL Server, and Reporting Services.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, query optimization, and stored procedure development.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, software architecture, and design patterns that support maintainable and reusable code.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments and solving complex business and technical challenges.
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with ETRM platforms.
- Experience integrating ETRM systems with upstream or downstream enterprise applications.
- Exposure to cloud-based application development and deployment practices.
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, or proposal development.
- Knowledge of energy trading, risk management, and commodity markets.
Responsibilities
- Deliver .NET implementation and enhancement projects, including custom extensions, integrations, data migrations, conversions, and reporting solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, application components, and configuration changes across multiple client engagements.
- Provide technical expertise in ETRM platforms across a range of energy commodities.
- Support technical training initiatives and contribute to knowledge-sharing across project teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and development teams to communicate progress and ensure successful project delivery.
