Requirements

Proven experience as an ETL Developer or in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as [e.g., Datafactory, Tableau, PowerBI].
Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) is desirable.
Experience with cloud-based ETL tools and services (e.g., Azure Data Factory or DataBricks) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it as per business requirements, and load it into target systems.
Design and develop complex SQL queries, scripts, and procedures to support data transformation and manipulation.
Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud services.
Ensure seamless data flow between systems while maintaining data quality and consistency.
Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve ETL performance issues, data discrepancies, and failures.
Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Monitor ETL jobs and workflows to ensure data loads are completed successfully and in a timely manner.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for ETL processes, workflows, and data mappings.
Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into ETL performance and data quality.
Work closely with business analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
Participate in data architecture and design discussions to ensure alignment with overall data strategy.
