ETL Developer
About The Position
CTG is seeking an ETL Developer for a client in Atlanta, Georgia, for a 12-month position. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and deploying ETL processes for data integration, transformation, and migration. The developer will create and maintain Ab Initio workflows, write and optimize complex SQL, and work with Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases. The position also supports cloud-based application development using microservices, application and data persistence across relational and NoSQL databases, and collaboration on cloud environments. The developer will apply DevOps practices and automation to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance, while troubleshooting performance and integration issues and ensuring data accuracy and reliability. A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant professional experience is required. Strong English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are also required.
Requirements
- Strong ETL development and data integration skills, including hands-on experience with Ab Initio.
- Advanced SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, and stored procedures.
- Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Understanding of data transformation, data mapping, and database performance optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud-based application development, microservices architecture, and REST/SOA services.
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, automation, and configuration management tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing and supporting Ab Initio ETL solutions.
- Experience writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex SQL queries across relational database platforms.
- Experience with enterprise data integration and database technologies, including Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to cloud-based application development and microservices environments.
- Experience supporting application deployment, testing, and maintenance using DevOps practices and automation tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
