As a primary investment area within Goldman Sachs, we provide investment and advisory services for pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, financial advisors and individuals. WIS Overview The Wealth Investment Solutions (WIS) team within Goldman Sachs Asset Management manages over $375bn in assets across 80,000+ customized portfolios for individual as well as institutional investors across the wealth spectrum. WIS designs and manages personalized investment solutions for individual investment objectives, including tax-managed, factor-based and value aligned strategies across the Equity and Fixed Income asset classes. Role Overview The ETF Portfolio Management Team within WIS is responsible for the oversight and management of ETF portfolios, including portfolio rebalancing, cash management, risk management and other day-to-day portfolio-related activities. The ETF PM team works with ETF market makers to manage primary market creations/redemptions activity and delivering tax-efficient outcomes in the portfolios. The ETF PM team also works with the broader division in the research and development of new ETF products and strategies, enhancements to existing products, industry and competitive analysis, systems development, and other select projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of practical experience in portfolio management activities
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of ETF products and ETF ecosystem recommended but not necessary
- Experience in programming languages (Python) is a plus
