About The Position
We are hiring for a 2nd shift Etcher/Printer in our Decorah, IA production facility. Starting wage for this position is $18.49 per hour. A day in the life of an Etcher/Printer at Gemini includes: Preparing acrylic and metal products for the UV printing process. Preparing art for UV resist printing. This includes ensuring art meets minimum specifications, making sure art will produce intended product, and processing photos for printing. Operating and maintaining UV printers. Knowing how to start up, clean, maintain, operate, and properly shut down the printers. Taping printed parts to help protect them from ink overspray. Preparing the acrylic and metal product for painting. This includes cleaning and taping when needed. Finish product after painting by removing the paint off the surface by hand finishing and preparing for clear coat. Performs inspection before clear coat to ensure compliance with customer specifications. Performs materials handling and maintains an organized and clean department. Maintains awareness of order dates, reworks and remakes, while prioritizing workflow accordingly.
