About The Position

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Etch Maintenance Technician to support its semiconductor manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance of tool sets in the Etch area, with additional equipment including Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST, Semitool SRD, and manual wet benches. The position is fully onsite and follows a compressed work week: three 12-hour days from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. one week, and four days the next week. Day and night shifts are available.

Candidates must meet applicable U.S. person requirements for access to areas where ITAR-controlled articles or technical data may be present. Eligible individuals include U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).

Requirements

• Associate of Science or Associate of Arts degree in electrical or mechanical studies, military training, or at least five years of relevant work experience.
• At least five years supporting AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, or STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher equipment.
• At least five years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• At least ten years of experience in equipment maintenance.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Strong electronic skills.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of SPC and how it is used and implemented in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work on complex electrical systems, including 120-, 240-, and 480-volt systems.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Meet applicable U.S. person requirements for ITAR access.
