About The Position

Turner Industries Group is looking for an Estimator to join our Estimating team at our Pipe Fabrication Facility in Port Allen, LA. This position will be responsible for coordinating proposal documents, specifications, drawings, and related information, generating material and labor take-offs based on client drawings, specifications, and/or bills of quantity. The Estimator will compute pricing based on developed take-offs and client data, and develop technical and commercial responses in conjunction with QA/QC and contracts departments. This role requires continuing coordination efforts with projects and/or sales groups until project is awarded, acting as a liaison with the Contracts department regarding relevant bid/award documentation, and attending "kick-off" meetings internally and with the client if necessary for awarded projects. Additional assignments as required and maintaining a clean and safe work environment are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical and technical skills required in facilitating the execution of projects based on preliminary information only
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills
• Must be self-directed and detail oriented
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience or equivalent combinations of experience, training, and/or education in specified skill
