About The Position

Hill International is seeking an Estimator in Seattle, Washington Responsibilities Prepare pre-design cost estimates based on scope and project type. Prepare construction cost estimates from drawings, outlines, and specifications on a variety of project types. Review contractor and consultant cost proposals. Negotiate change orders. Review contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and equitable cost allowance for scope changes. Proactively identify deficiencies and/or questions and actively assist the project team toward the answers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
Proficient with large-scale estimating software.
Proficient with industry estimating databases and other estimating data sources.
Demonstrates a proactive, firm and respectful approach to estimate reconciliation efforts and change order processing.
Demonstrated experience with complex estimate reconciliations and change order negotiations.

Nice To Haves

Optional Certifications may include PMP, PE, and/or any other relevant professional licensure or certification.
