About The Position

Kolb Electric, Inc. is looking for a qualified and experienced ESTIMATOR for Design Build Service Level Projects to join our dynamic team for our Northern, Virginia Servicing Location. The ideal candidate will have a background in lead electrician and field electrical work. Estimators will visit residential, commercial, and property management customers requesting solution-driven contract pricing. This estimator will evaluate customer needs, formulate the required scope of work, detail a material list, and estimate labor hours for any service-level project. Customer communication, vendor relationships, and staff leadership are essential for this position. Excel and Microsoft Office are a plus. Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of Lead Electrician or Estimator experience.
• Electrical experience, including working with schematics.
• Familiarity with low voltage systems and NEC regulations.
• Competency in electrical duties.
• Basic code compliant wiring.
• Circuits and lighting.
• Site & LED lighting.
• Electrical Troubleshooting.
• Ability to read prints or schematics.
• Positive attitude.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to keep a neat personal appearance and a neat vehicle.
• Cooperative Interaction with Fellow Employees.
• Leadership by Action.

Nice To Haves

• Excel and Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Professional license Preferred (we will assist you in acquiring).
