About The Position

Are you a detail-focused professional with a passion for estimating and a background in commercial flooring or construction? Join our Real Floors Commercial division, where you’ll work closely with a supportive team to help Project Managers secure successful project bids and installations. This is a full time position in Marietta, GA. Real Floors Commercial, Inc. (RFCI) is a privately-held company specializing in the installation of high quality flooring finishes. With 30 years in the industry, RFCI is one of the largest flooring contractors in the Southeast and in the country. This experience allows RFCI to work with local, regional and national General Contractors on a wide variety of projects. Our dedication to continued education and embracing the latest technology available in the market allows RFCI to retain its place as an industry leader. We have a proven track record that includes a vast portfolio of multi-family and senior assisted-living projects as well as holding the status of national flooring vendor for retail/big-box outlets, completing projects throughout the country.

Requirements

Experience in commercial flooring or construction estimating.
Strong knowledge of flooring materials and installation methods (preferred).
Proficiency in reading blueprints and performing take-offs.
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with digitizing software; RFMS MEASURE knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze blueprints and project plans to develop accurate material and cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather crucial information.
Oversee the estimating process for multiple projects at once.
Keep organized records of bid documents, drawings, and correspondence.
Provide expert guidance to other estimators on software use and product knowledge.
